Night Lights in New Lebanon is proud to announce that online registration for its fourth annual community light festival is officially open.  The annual event held on Saturday, September 5th, 2026 brings groups of lighting enthusiasts, designers, community volunteers and more to enjoy an evening of experiential lighting installations for the local community to experience during Labor Day weekend.

The festival will begin on Saturday, September 5th at 8:00 pm thru11:00 pm with a dedicated hour for families with small children starting at 8:00 pm.  The event is FREE to attend and pre-registration is encouraged to reserve a dedicated time slot with last entry at 10:30 pm.  Registration is available at www.nightlightsinnewlebanon.com/register.

Since the event’s conception in 2023, the festival has showcased over 50+ talented lighting designers from all over the country to share their talents and creative visions in creating experiential lighting vignettes.  The festival was created as an initiative designed to support and inspire the growth of the next generation of talent in the lighting community.  The program draws support from leading industry lighting designers and emerging professionals from both the New York City and Boston lighting communities.

The goal of the event is to promote collaboration, creativity, and community engagement, and to share the love of light!  It is supported through materials and financial contributions from our sponsors and community.  Official sponsors of the event include Visionary Sponsors: the IESNYC and DLFNYC, Event Sponsors: ETC and Hydrel, our Fiscal Sponsor: Equity in Lighting, and over 30 other manufacturers, sales, and design firms from the lighting industry. Local sponsors include Roaring 20s Brewery, Maverick's, JimmyD's Pizza, and the New Lebanon Farmer's Market, along with our growing local committee of volunteers.
