Mr. Roger Heron, CEO of Sylvania in Panama, emphasized the importance of the fair for the region and said: "In Panama and Central America, InterLumi is a great opportunity for companies of prestige and leadership in the market like Sylvania. The realization of this exhibition is a big step for the region, since it shows that we are able to offer products of the highest quality, manufactured and distributed locally. We are excited to have the opportunity to present our plant in Costa Rica and all the services and solutions we offer, in addition to the LED technology, in which we are one of the leaders from the industry until reaching the end consumers. And, on the other hand, it seems exciting to us that this event will allow all competitors and market players to have a face to face dialogue about the present and the future of lighting."
“It is more than overdue to have an important Lighting Fair for the Central, Caribbean & Andean Regions in America. This event will establish an important network of contacts, suppliers, and clients interested in the Lighting Sector. Highlighting the concept of “high-efficiency lighting”, InterLumi sounds perfect to us since part of our job as lighting professionals is to help the lighting sector to be viewed as “high efficiency – high tech“, commented by Mr. Juan F. Luna, CEO and founder of ILUMAX S.A.
Eco Leader Holding S.A. is a distributor of lighting that is revolutionizing the industry with LumiTar products from Finland. Enigneer Ms. Anna Marie Chen noted: “We think, as a new company bringing together new technologies in the field of illumination, that this international trade fair will help us inform and educate a large audience about where the future of illumination is going and which are the most innovative trends in Europe at this moment, not known yet in the Americas. Also, we expect to be able to find new partners/distributors for these new technologies in neighboring countries. InterLumi’s concept of "high efficient lighting” for us is a great initiative, and very necessary, because it is one of our company’s major concerns and goals. "
Fellow exhibitor RINTSA, distributor of LUMO and Light Tech products, also shared a strong faith in this prosperous market with growing demand for high-efficient lighting products. The owner, Mr. Ricardo Castillo stated: "Today, LED technology can replace perfectly the CFL and Incandescent technologies, InterLumi is a very important event where we have the opportunity to show the consumer these advantages and to present our products in Latin America, creating new markets for our brands, it will also benefit us in terms of brand exposure, increasing sales, market knowledge and networking. "

The trend of products’ development is driving manufacturers and distributors to be in a constant awareness of new markets, technologies and applications. Therefore, this makes of InterLumi a well-timed event for the region. As a formation entity in the areas of industry, decoration, construction and all sectors related to lighting technology and to energy efficiency, we believe that supporting this event will further strengthen our presence at a regional level to generate greater awareness and benefit our members for the participation in InterLumi either as exhibitors or visitors."
