LED Lighting Video Series Targets Electrical Industry
October 25, 2012
A new video series from ElectricTV.net focuses on what electrical contractors need to know about LED lighting. LED lighting will soon have a strong impact on the industry and the series was developed to help electrical industry stakeholders get ready for the changes and opportunities ahead.
Part 1 of the three-part series introduces this emerging technology—and its significant potential for future energy savings. This installment features an interview with DOE Lighting Program Manager, Dr. James Brodrick, entitled “Where are they now?” explaining some of the advantages of LED lighting and where to look for information that can help you learn more. This first video installment can be found on the ElectricTV.net website at: http://www.electrictv.net/videos/light-emitting-diodes-in-2012/.
Part 2 of the series goes deeper into the subject in a conversation with long-time LED expert, Dr. John Curran, about LED lighting’s shift from novelty to mainstream use. Many LED manufacturers and an increasing variety of products are entering the market. Electrical contractors who understand the myths and facts about the technology—and who learn how to evaluate LED products effectively—can gain a competitive edge. The second video can be found at http://www.electrictv.net/videos/led-lights-info-series-2012-part-2-of-3/. Part 3 of the series is forthcoming.
