Forty-two percent of respondents reported “better” conditions, 16 percent reported “worse,” and 42 percent indicated conditions were unchanged. Compared to the prior month, the distribution of responses showed a meaningful improvement, with a larger share reporting better conditions and a smaller share indicating deterioration. Respondent comments suggested conditions were generally stable to improving, supported by stronger new orders, though some panelists continued to cite slower decision-making and uneven demand.
