The Surfa KnifeEdge 4 in. is a surface-mount channel with an illuminated reveal that creates a vanishing cove effect when mounted horizontally below a ceiling. Its grooved underside allows for easy mud-in and painting to blend into any space.

The unique forward-facing placement for the LED tape light projects light forward, distributing more light evenly across a ceiling.

The channel’s thoughtful design allows it to easily wrap around corners without the need for soldering or corner connectors, which can create a dark spot.

Designed for easy installation, simply place the channel against the wall or ceiling and screw it into place. The wire run cavity further simplifies the installation process. The linking system easily joins and aligns profile sections.

The petite aluminum channel is only 2.03" wide at the top and 3.90" wide at the bottom and 1.77" in height and can be mounted on a wall to create a cove lighting reveal or mounted to the ceiling to create a downlight cove reveal.

The Surfa KnifeEdge 4 in. is sold in complete kits (4 ft. or 7 ft.) to create a finished fixture in the field or custom lengths are available through Alloy LED’s Build-To-Order Program.
