June 2026 NEMA Electroindustry Business Confidence Index

The Current Conditions component rose to 63.2 in June, up from May's reading of 47.7 and returning to expansionary territory. Forty-two percent of respondents reported “better” conditions, 16 percent reported “worse,” and 42 percent indicated conditions were unchanged. Compared to the prior month, the distribution of responses showed a meaningful improvement, with a larger share reporting better conditions and a smaller share indicating deterioration. Read more
