The new Philips Bodine BLCD-20B Emergency Lighting Control Unit, in conjunction with an auxiliary generator or central inverter system, allows fixtures to be turned off at the end of the workday or whenever normal lighting is not needed without jeopardizing emergency lighting operation. The device is small enough to mount directly onto a junction box and supports lighting loads up to 20A. IOTA is proud to announce the release of the ETS-20 and ETS-20-DR Emergency Lighting Control Device...allowing for the of use wall switches or other control devices, such as a timer or occupancy sensor, on designated emergency fixtures powered by an auxiliary generator or inverter supply. This allows users to turn emergency fixtures on and off as they choose, eliminating the excessive power consumption caused by night lights or 'Always ON' fixtures. The IOTA ETS-20-DR offers even greater control capability with “Dual Zone Dimming.” The ETS-20 DR features dimming relay leads that allows the use of two different 0-10V dimming controls. Occupants can now have two zones in a space, such as in a presentation hall, dimmed to their desired levels and, in the event of a power loss, the ETS-20-DR will bypass both dimmer controls to allow the emergency supply to power the designated emergency fixtures in both zones at full output.

The Philips Bodine e-ARC Keeper™ for 20-39W Electronic HID Ballasts prevents the arc of an HID metal halide lamp from extinguishing during short-term power disruptions. HID systems are highly susceptible to even very minor power events. e-ARC Keeper senses the disturbance before it can become problematic and immediately begins supplying power to the electronic HID ballast. It will support the ballast for 30 seconds. This action eliminates nuisance downtime in HID systems and allows HID metal halide fixtures to serve as emergency lighting when used with a generator.
IOTA introduces the next frontier of emergency lighting with the IOTA PoE-CP12 - the first integral emergency driver for Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE) applications. The PoE-CP12 combines IOTA's patented true Constant Power performance with innovative Power-over-Ethernet input to operate today's smart LED lighting fixtures with non-diminishing emergency power. During a loss of normal PoE switch input power, the IOTA PoE-CP12 will operate the fixture from the battery supply to provide 12 watts of emergency illumination.
