Philips Emergency Lighting introduces its Philips Bodine Emergency LED Driver line. Philips Bodine emergency LED drivers bring code-compliant emergency lighting to LED fixtures. The product line allows LED fixtures to serve as code-compliant emergency lighting sources and includes drivers to suit a variety of needs: indoor, outdoor, damp, cold temperatures, steplights, downlights, security lighting and more. Models are UL Component Recognized.When normal AC power fails, the emergency LED drivers immediately switch into emergency mode and support LEDs for a minimum of 90 minutes. When AC power is restored, the drivers automatically return to the charging mode.

The new Philips Bodine BLCD-20B Emergency Lighting Control Unit, in conjunction with an auxiliary generator or central inverter system, allows fixtures to be turned off at the end of the workday or whenever normal lighting is not needed without jeopardizing emergency lighting operation. The device is small enough to mount directly onto a junction box and supports lighting loads up to 20A. The BLCD-20B controls lighting in areas where emergency fixtures are connected to dedicated emergency lighting circuits. When normal utility power is lost, the device will bring on emergency lighting regardless of fixture switch position (on/off). Emergency lighting only when you need it equals energy savings.
ISD Series Battery Packs from IOTA Engineering provide emergency operation for linear and fluorescent lamps. ISD Emergency Battery Packs provide 1300 lumens of emergency illumination, and automatically conduct the 30-second monthly and 90-minute annual tests required by code. If the ISD Emergency ballast encounters a problem with the lamp, charging circuit, or inverter circuit, the unit will signal an alert via a flashing indicator light and audible beep.
Philips Bodine REDiTEST self-testing/self-diagnostic fluorescent emergency ballasts automatically test emergency lighting for 30 seconds every 30 days and for 90 minutes annually, according to code. In addition, they continuously monitor charging current and battery voltage. A flashing LED indicator light alerts maintenance personnel to ballast status. Because testing with REDiTEST is done automatically every 30 days, building maintenance personnel are not required to manually test emergency lighting each month.
The Philips Bodine e-ARC Keeper™ for 20-39W Electronic HID Ballasts prevents the arc of an HID metal halide lamp from extinguishing during short-term power disruptions. HID systems are highly susceptible to even very minor power events. e-ARC Keeper senses the disturbance before it can become problematic and immediately begins supplying power to the electronic HID ballast. It will support the ballast for 30 seconds. This action eliminates nuisance downtime in HID systems and allows HID metal halide fixtures to serve as emergency lighting when used with a generator.
IOTA IIS Series Inverters provide emergency power solutions for fluorescent, incandescent, LED, and HID lighting loads. IIS Inverters operate multiple fixtures at full light output from a central battery supply for the 90 minutes required by code. IIS Inverters are perfect and cost-effective solutions for smaller spaces such as office, retail and restaurant applications where typical inverters solutions can be too expensive. The Philips Bodine ELI-S-20 Emergency Lighting Inverter from Philips Emergency Lighting is unit equipment that transforms LED and fluorescent fixtures up to 25 W into code-compliant emergency lighting sources. ELI-S-20 is ideal for Edison-base (screw-base) lamps and features an LED-friendly sinusoidal waveform.ELI-S-20 supplies a minimum 90 minutes of illumination, powers the designated fixture at full brightness throughout its runtime and is UL Listed.
The BAL Series from Orbit Industries is a dependable line of Fluorescent Emergency Ballasts. Available in 6 different configurations with lumen output ranging from 300lm to 3500lm, the BAL Series offers fully automatic operation at 120-277VAC and provides 90 minutes of emergency operation in the event of power failure or interruption. The BAL Series is compatible with most one-, two-, three-, and four-lamp electronic standard and dimming AC ballasts. Battery, charger, and inverter circuit included. The ILB Series Emergency Battery Packs from IOTA Engineering offer 90-minute emergency operation for LED fixtures in the event of a loss of power. The Philips Bodine BSL17C-C2 is the newest entry into the Philips Emergency Lighting Emergency LED Driver line. The BSL17C-C2 supports a lighting load up to 7 W at a rated current of 270 mA maximum for a minimum of 90 minutes. The emergency LED driver is ideal for LED downlight applications and compatible with the Philips Fortimo DLM and SLM. BSL17C-C2 is UL Component Recognized for factory installation only.
IOTA is proud to announce the release of the ETS-20 and ETS-20-DR Emergency Lighting Control Device...allowing for the of use wall switches or other control devices, such as a timer or occupancy sensor, on designated emergency fixtures powered by an auxiliary generator or inverter supply. This allows users to turn emergency fixtures on and off as they choose, eliminating the excessive power consumption caused by night lights or 'Always ON' fixtures. The IOTA ETS-20-DR offers even greater control capability with “Dual Zone Dimming.” The ETS-20 DR features dimming relay leads that allows the use of two different 0-10V dimming controls. Occupants can now have two zones in a space, such as in a presentation hall, dimmed to their desired levels and, in the event of a power loss, the ETS-20-DR will bypass both dimmer controls to allow the emergency supply to power the designated emergency fixtures in both zones at full output.
IOTA ICE Series Emergency Battery Packs are designed for outdoor and cold-weather applications from minus 18 degrees to 55 degrees Celsius. ICE Series Battery Packs provide 1300 lumens of emergency illumination for both linear and compact fluorescent lamps, and feature an internal heating blanket that protects the battery pack from freezing conditions.
