Spectrum Lighting was founded in 1992 by partners Chris Roemlein and Jeff Fein. The original factory was a 600 square foot garage located in Newport, Rhode Island where they designed and handmade original fixtures. The factory is now a seven-acre campus with five buildings and over 250,000 square feet of manufacturing and design space, dedicated exclusively to the production of architectural lighting fixtures. Spectrum Lighting’s design, testing and extensive in-house manufacturing facilities are unique in the industry and include optical reflectors, spun parts, machined parts, tool and die shop, welding, laser cutting, forming, powder coating and paint finishing.
